English Setter Friends
Since 1982, when I got my first English setter, I have always loved and admired the breed. In 2004, I went to visit Ardys McElwee (of Arrowood English Setters) to see her new litter of English setter puppies. I fell in love with a beautiful, little tri bitch. Later that summer Kissy came home with me and joined my Gordon setter family. Gigi was delighted to finally have a playmate closer in age and they became the best of friends. My other two "older" gordons watched their antics from a far distance - safe from tumbling feet and rolling bodies. I enjoyed having Kissy so much that I decided to acquire another English setter puppy. In 2006, I contacted Joan Savage (of Stagedoor English Setters) who was planning a lovely breeding. Chanel came later that summer and was an instant playmate to my Gordon setter puppies. Then in the summer of 2008, my beautiful, little tri bitch Miley arrived.......sent again by Joan Savage. I love all three of my girls and am looking forward to having fun with them in and out of the show ring. My Gordon setters love them too and are thrilled to have new playmates.
